This school is great if you are looking to be a part-time student. basically if you wanna brush up on whatever skills you have or if you just love learning. you can do long distance too i think which would be good if you have a family or work a lot.
But its also totally dedicated to full time students as well with like 80 programs to choose from or something. i've found that they offer programs that are really a part of society and not super abstact degrees (if that makes sense) but basically get a degree that will mean something once you get out into the working force. it's also between ottawa and toronto, which is nice and peaceful but not too far from a fun weekend get away with friends.

Construction training program a hands-on challenge for students Monday, March 16 at 11:00am
When it comes to math, Jamie Cote has never been a fan.
His avoidance of it, however, ended last month when he signed up for a pre-construction work training program at St. Lawrence College. Suddenly, the 21-year-old Cote was putting mathematics to good use.
"When I first came to the program, I wasn't sure how well I'd do," Cote said of the program designed to let young people see if it is the right career path for them.
"Once we got to the hands on, my skills just kept going up," Cote said Wednesday while building a gazebo with some of his classmates.
"This is definitely something for me," he said during an interview with The Recorder and Times. Not only has Cote determined construction work is what he wants to do, but his math, computer skills, and resume-creation skills have also improved.
