In my office I have two red plastic chairs for guests. They are separated by a red table with a lid that lifts away to reveal the stash of chocolates I keep for kids and colleagues.
On top of the lid is a box of tissues, which is full in November and empty by Christmas. The box is replaced and then lasts from the end of exams in January to about the third week of February. The crying seasons coincide first with university and college admissions and then with course selections for Grade 12.

(Brockville, Cornwall, Kingston, April 9, 2008) – Ontario college graduates continue to have a distinct edge in the job market. 92.3 per cent of St. Lawrence College graduates who entered the labour force found employment within six months, according to the provincial Key Performance Indicator (KPI) results released today.
Furthermore, employers give St. Lawrence College graduates top marks, with 95.7 per cent of surveyed employers expressing satisfaction with graduates hired within the past year.

Congratulations to Diana Drury, Student Life Counsellor at St. Lawrence College, on the recent announcement that she'll be inducted into the Peterborough and District Sports Hall of Fame as an All-Round Athlete (hockey, lacrosse, fastball, basketball, bowling, track and field), for her contributions to Athletics at the Provincial and Canadian levels, and her mentoring of females athletes through coaching throughout the years. The induction ceremony will take place on June 6th, 2008 in Peterborough, ON.
